Yes, somehow I have managed to continue writing short stories while finishing my novella (and my novel). For those interested . . .
One of my stories, "The Phenomenology of Leaving," was just accepted by South Carolina Review. I'm pleased to have my work included in this fine journal. I'll keep everyone posted on a pub date.
